Curiosity factor seems to distract everyone on 128, even for the slightest fender benders. It is scary how fast people slow down to gawk! I get distracted trying to choose what CD to listen to, especially in the morning.

Hummers...what in God's green earth does ANYONE who isn't in the military need a BIG HUNK of metal that hogs up the road for? This isn't even to mention that it (and all SUV's) it keeps driving up the price of gasoline due to the fact that you have to fill it up every 10 miles. It also isn't mentioning that the moron's that drive them are just that--morons who don't know what they are doing, and heaven forbid they hit someone--because they CANNOT SEE YOU. I have had 3 near death experiences on the highway from these dopes who don't realize they have more blind spots and they tried to change lanes--while I WAS there. You should need a special license to drive these monsters (like the military requires--driving school)

During a snowy morning this winter, I ended up behind a driver who had not cleaned the snow off their car - not even their windshield! Somehow they decided to drive anyway and while driving tried to clean the snow off the windshield with the wipers and wiper fluid - which only made it worse since it was so cold. This driver was more than distracted. They couldn't see out of the windshield but tried to drive anyway. This driver held up traffic since he could not drive the speed limit. I was appalled. It was all that I could do to stop and demand this driver to pull over.

Tha last snow storm we had I saw a young girl driving down Mcgrath Hwy, She was on the phone having a grand time. Suddenly she was going too fast and side swipped the bridge on her left ruining the side of her new car. She laughs and keeps going and talking on the phone. I don't even think she knew what happened. Get the picture, cell phones are a real distraction making people think they can talk and drive at the same time. Guess what alot of people dont have the smarts or coordination to handle both at the same time.
