Gave it up.  Maybe someone can distill it into a 120 minute movie or a three evening miniseries but I gave up on the thing this year.  Indulgent story telling.

I started watching this show in its second season because my son was a fan and had bought the first season.  Lost me early last season because the plot became absolutely insane to follow.  Lost my son as well, who has a pretty high tolerance for same.  Even little hottie Evangeline Lilly could not keep my attention.  Lost, as they say, has jumped the shark, or in this case, jumped the hatch.

It's so hard to have to think!

Absolutely I'm a fan. I think it's one of the best shows in television history. The plot IS incredibly complex, and you do have to put some work in to stay with it, but the payoff is huge. They are just now answering questions that were raised four years ago, and the way that they are bringing together multiple, intricate story lines is amazing. And every week they throw something at you that you just did not see coming.

It entertains, challenges, and mystifies all at the same time. But it's not for everyone. People that like the simple, mindless diversion of 'reality' tv or some of the other tripe that dominates the airwaves will probably not enjoy it.

Personally, I'm going to really miss it when it ends next year.

It's so obvious that that switch writers around betwween shows and maybe even during the same show.  It has become incomprehensibly inconsistent and circular.  while it is philosophically intriguing, it has lost touch with its audience.  It is just out of control. I usually fall asleep in the middle now.

I was, but I just don't have the time to expend so much effort thinking about a television show.  It takes way too long for answers, week after week, year after year, getting nowhere.  Getting Lost.  LOL!

Horrible horrible show. Poor acting, ridiculous plot and scenarios, I really can't understand how people watch it.

I'm with you. I fell in love with Lost after the first episode on DVD. I watched it online until the end of last season. Haven't seen a single ep this season. I'm done!

Love, love, love the show.  Yes, one has to have watched from the beginning and understand the history to watch the show but for those of us who do, and I am sure I speak for all Lost fans, we just cannot get enough

Probably the best show on TV currently, certainly one of the most ambitious ever.  The plot is really not as complicated as some comments here are making out.  Seasons 3, 4 and 5 have been very rewarding with fewer "throw away" episodes.

Since you took the story off the front page, the link to the articles in the TV section doesn't work...

I am losing interest FAST. The plot is so hard to follow lately! Are we 3 years into the future, or are we 30 years in the past???
