Boston.com is shooting photos at all the best club and bar nights around the city.

Where should we visit next? Is there a particular dance night or DJ at your favorite club? Is trivia at your neighborhood pub a weekly event? Why should we check it out?

You should check out the weekly open mic at Lizard Lounge in Cambridge. It is every Monday night, and it is a contest of sorts with a celebrity judge picking 3 finalists. It attracts some of the best local talent and the room is often packed and, believe it or not, quiet (people actually listen to each other)! It is hosted by Tom Bianchi, and often his humor and zany antics are crowd pleasers for sure. The scene there has been very consistent there for over a year, so I definitely think you should check it out.

thanks,
james

You guys need to check out DJ's at The Garden (222 Friend Street, right across from the Garden). It is a hott classy new sports bar - no roid heads i promise!
Great place to watch a game - they have 24 high defination plasma tv's- you won't miss a second of any game - they are IN THE BATHROOMS TOO!
They feature an impressive live music line up Thursday, Friday and Sat nights and never charge a cover.
Great selection of beer too- 20 beers on tap and 40 bottles beers.

you guys should have been at Beehive last night. 15 piece Brazilian drum band, had the place rollicking. Carnival girls in full on peacock costumes.

Eclectic, fun, and cool - would be a better option than old Dicks :) (in my opinion).

Check out "the place" on saturday night. That cool dude Spaz from the bad tribal tattoo metal station WAAF is there and he will annoy you while you wait in line in subzero temperatures. Ironically the Kiss 108 playlist is in full effect along with the worst hip hop song of all time "let me clear my throat." Don't worry ladies there are at least 20 guys ready to grind on you if you decide to venture out onto the dance floor so you'll have something to complain about later. Oh I forgot, the stripper bartenders will make you feel totally inadequate as well. Guys, definitely tip them well even though you'll never have a shot with them in real life.

Trivia at Atwood's on Wednesdays at 7. Sugar Dish (aka Quizmaster Vanessa) from burlesque troupe Babes in Boinkland and organizer of the Slutcracker is usually in costume to go along with the theme of the quiz that night and the place is always packed.
