Re: What is the funniest movie of all-time?

A lot of omissions on this list. Where are the Woody Allen movies? "La Cage Aux Folles" definitely belongs here even if it's in French. “The King of Hearts” is another French film which belongs on this list. Two Best Picture Oscar winners, “Annie Hall” and “The Apartment” are missing. Other missing movies include “The Bank Dick” or any of the comedies starring Jack Lemmon in the 60’s (e.g. “The Apartment” or “The Fortune Cookie”).

Some that didn't make the list but probably should have:

    - Spaceballs
    - Robin Hood Men in Tights
    - Step Brothers
    - Christmas Vacation
    - Major League
    - Best in Show

There's probably some movies that are missing from the list, but the top 5 (maybe 6) are spot on.  The real debate is what should be number one.  Probably Animal House, but I've always thought it to be Caddyshack.

"Pink Flamingo" is by far the funniest movie I have ever seen - and the commentary by John Waters on his "Director's Cut" is possibly even funnier than the movie itself

Re: What is the funniest movie of all-time?

the old movies are not that funny at all, anything before 1990 is lame except for caddyshack, fast times at ridgemont high, and vacation

i think some people here havent seen a movie since the 70's, anything in black white or with monty python blows.

Re: What is the funniest movie of all-time?

Well I do give credit for going back in time.  Most lists of "All-Time" greats really only consider the last 20 years or so.
But, the Marx Bros. should be represented more than once.
Animal House is just a safe #1 IMO.
And other omissions:  Christmas Vacation, Role Models.
