2013 Random List (by a music fan with eclectic taste)

Rather than post a list by a critic or from a music fanzine, I saw this list of albums for 2013 written by a music blogger; these albums are his take on some of the best thus far.

It's like a pretty nice blend of new artists and seasoned artists, that have released new albums since January.   (perhaps some were late in 2012, not sure, but it's not worth being that picky).

I love the list.   It has some albums I never would have thought to look at, some we've discussed, a few finds I read about from SXSW, and one or two that are in my amazon cart right now.

    Any comments?

Cool.  I have a couple of these.

The Frightened Rabbit and Eric Burdon releases are on my "to get" list.

My wife has the Atlas Genius LP, but it hasn't really grabbed me yet.

Since I already have higher priorities, I am going to put Foxygen on the back burner.   Tempting, and intriguing that their new album is on the list.    Nice to see Fade on this list -- esp. since I just had a sidebar conversation about Yo La Tengo less than a week ago.   I'm glad I waited to take a close look at YLT, even though it was not entirely intentional, since I can make my first album one that's brand new.   Nice timing.   (still cannot believe they're in that 30-year anniversary range; seems crazy).
