I expect the J.Geil songs will probably be the best part of that movie.

They stink and are a very overrated band.

I would say the same thing about Springsteen and the Dave Matthews band, but millions and millions of people would disagree with me.Much like I along with millions of other people, would disagree with you. That doesn't make me right or wrong,we just have different opinions.

[QUOTE]In Response to Re: An update for the J.Geils tour (Boston) and appearing in Adam Sandler's new movie : Homebrew Belgian, eh? Excellent! I have always wanted to get into that. Probably will, once we find a house to buy (inventory is bad - at least near public transit into Boston) and get out of this Cambridge condo....   Don't really have any extra room at the moment. I hear ya, but if you have room for a stockpot, a 5 gallon bucket and a couple cases of bottles, you can brew your own beer.

I've been doing it for years, and it couldn't be easier.  Depending on the type and ingredients, you can make great tasting beer for about $0.75 per 12 oz. bottle.  I've done oatmeal stouts, black lagers, IPAs, wheat ales...you name it.

Sure. The people that rush to buy tickets to Aerosmith will disagree too. I have said it before and say it again: they are rotten. There is no originality or ingenuity in their sound.

That has been proven throughout the history of music. However, Springsteen has the passion of a ravenous crow and DMB (Dave Matthews guitar style is very unique) first couple albums offered a whole new sound. JGB have done none of the above.
