"And if your mom don't like it, she can take me to court!"

One of the great , funny lyrics of all time from "Till the Walls Come Tumblin' Down." When I heard this song I was instantly a fan of Peter Wolf for life.

    Serves you right to suffer

or any cut off of FULL HOUSE

I thought that they sold out in the '80s though,  I don't blame them (they went for the POP BUCKS) but I thought they lost their Rock and Roll edge

Love the band. As good a live band as you will ever see. Peter Wolf is one of the great frontmen in RnR.

What always amused me about the J. Geils band was it took their very worst material to garner them mainstream acceptance and airplay.

I always liked J. Geils because of their R&B approach and their great harmonica player, Magic Dick. My favorite original songs of theirs are "Give It to Me", "Must Of Got Lost", and "Just Can't Wait". Never got to see them live but they seemed to be my kind of good time bar band.

One of the great live albums of all time.
First I look at the purse
    Homework
    Pack Fair and Square
    Whammer Jammer
    Hard Drivin' Man
    Serves You Right To Suffer
    Cruisin' For a Love
    Lookin' For a Love
It just doesn't get any better than that. As a matter of fact I think I'll listen to that album right now.

My favorite Boston band without question, but is there really a more fun-sounding and -listening band than J. Geils.  Every song was a party, and every show was the event of the season.

Blow Your Face Out was my first music purchase.

"Give It To Me" - "Now don't touch the knobs, 'cause I think we're gonna have a little fun with this one here..."

"Southside Shuffle" - "Do you wanna dance? YEAH!  Movin', groovin', slip n' slide?  YEAH! "Aw, baby, don't you hiiiiide"

"Love-itis, got a hold on me / Love-itis, got control on me"
