    Guitar lessons (from an idol)

Okay. Take a little respite from reality. :)

If you had the chance to take guitar lessons from a guitarist you idolize, who would it be?  Pick one, dead or alive.  Or one of each.

If there's one thing I've learned from this forum, it's that you all know what you like when it comes to the guitar (and you know what you're talking about).

Thoughts, anyone?  (and if piano, drums, or voice are your thing, that's fine, too).

Note: No musical talent or experience necessary to weigh in.  :)

Steve Howe, Jerry Cantrell or Mike McCready

Garcia if he was still with us.

Greg Lake, Neil Young on Acoustic.

Matthew Bellamy and/or Sarah McLachlan -- piano and guitar (for a twofer)
    Liz Story -- piano

It's impossible to pick one or two artists for voice lessons, but here are a few:
Aimee Mann or Sarah McLachlan; Eva Cassidy (no longer with us).
