Indulge your musical fantasy.

    Indulge your musical fantasy.

Bands have come and gone due to various reasons, death being on of them. Using that as your premise, if you had to put a supergroup together with remaining bands from two different bands, what might they look like.

For years now I always wondered what it might be like if Townsend, Daltry, Ringo and Paul got together. I have read that they are all friends, especially Paul and Pete. Might be interesting to see them perform live and also, wonder what Pete and Paul could do together writing.

As you can tell, I am either bored today or spinning off the edge.

Another thing I can tell is that you have an awful lot of fantasies.

But, once agian this is where we two have lots in common...( of course , there's that Yankee thing and that Cheap Trick thing that we've discussed before , standing in our way).

Always thought Bill Cosby, Beverly Sills, Johnny Cash and Connie Chung would have sold lots of records as Cosby , Sills, Cash and Chung....I would hope that most of the songs would come from Johnny Cash....but all kidding aside....

....I've never really had this type of fantasy ( we won't get into the other kind), but I should like to ad lib , if for no other reason because jessie needs the entertainment today.

Let's go with the Talking Heads fronted by Elvis Costello in place of David Byrne , who left them to go solo and they eventually released a CD without him as 'The Heads.' Costello would release a few lesser CDs without his brilliant backing band , The Attractions. This would seem to be a good fit.

Or maybe, Peter Wolf ( instead of going solo) replaces David Lee Roth in Van Halen and they add Seth Justman on keyboards?

    Thank you Zilla for playing.

I made the mistake of turning the TV on last night and actually spent about 15 minutes watching the debate when it all hit me.

This election must have been conceived in the dead mind of Walt Disney as these two candidates look like Dumbo and Pinocchio.
