One thing leads to another here on BDC music forums and I was thinking of all the songs I never get tired of listening to after reading some of the other subject matter here.
I could give a list larger than the NYC phonebook ( well, maybe not quite), but I thought I would keep it to songs I have heard zillions of times and still enjoy a great deal.
Not in any particular order but just randomly..I give you:
Come Together -Beatles
Satisfaction- Stones
Riders on the Storm- Doors
White Rabbit - Jefferson Airplane
House of the Rising Sun- Animals
I Fought the Law- Bobby Fuller Four
Rock In The Casbah- The Clash
Born On The Bayou- Creedence Clearwater Revival
Black Magic Woman- Santana
All Along The Watchtower- Jimi Hendrix
Feels Like The First Time- Foreigner
Roundabout- Yes
Aqualung-Jethro Tull
The Thrill Is Gone- B.B.King
A Real Mother For You- Johnny Guitar Watson
The Chain- Fleetwood Mac
Rock and Roll- Led Zeppelin

...and my all time favorites...
The White Room - Cream
Burn- Deep Purple
Veteran of the Psychic Wars- Blue Oyster Cult
Almost Cut my Hair- Crosby , Stills , Nash and Young
Cortez The Killer- Neil Young
Roll Another Number- Neil Young
My God, there are a whole lot of songs I never get tired of hearing. Sure hope I never go deaf. Although they used to tell me if I kept listening to Rock music it would eventually happen. So far, so good.
Let's list some songs that we never get tired of hearing.

carnie, as soon as I read your first choice I thought, "I don't think there is a Steely Dan song I ever get tired of hearing."
I play the albums straight through and after years of listening to Steely Dan , I have to say, 'Countdown To Ecstasy' never, ever , ever gets old. -

I saw Steve play this song live just two weeks ago. It was one of the last songs of the show and the band was cooking. Very special, especially since it's kind of his theme song. -

There was a covers band that used to play small venues here in southern Mass. and the Cape who were called the McCarthy-Richards Band. They covered many Steely Dan, Doobie Bros. and Van Morrison tunes back in late 70's.
They covered 'My Old School' and did it almost as well as Steely Dan. It was great. -

I like that one alot also.
If you like Stephen Stills songs, you might want to check out the double LP from the 70's with his great band he assembled for a couple of albums called Manassas (I you are not already familiar with them, some real good studio musicians , Chris Hillman of the Byrds and Dallas Taylor who drummed in CSNY). There are some really nice Stills songs on this album. -

Way, way, too many songs to list.
I basically have a small cluster of favorite bands whom I do not think I will ever get sick of listening to, but I do get sick of the band overall from overplaying, which I tend to do, and end up switching around a bit.
The core bands: Stones '63-74, The Doors, Led Zeppelin, Guns n' Roses, Alice in Chains. -

Then there are the "less core" bands, that I listen to plenty, but not as cyclically or frequently....
Beatles, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Tool, SRV, Black Sabbath, and plenty others... -

The funny thing about this song is that nobody I knew liked I Feel Alright that much, and I thought maybe Steve was in danger of falling victim to his sobriety. Of course, that never happened, and then Troubador showed up on the Talladega Nights soundtrack and . . . well . . . you know how people are.

Posted by ZILLAGODI had a feeling you (and DD) would be a fan of this song, based on so many comments that you've made. I couldn't list another song after this one, and I really mean that. Thanks, I will have to look into Manassas. Sounds very special and if there are any members of the Byrds contributing, that tells me somethin' right there, you know? :)
