    New jobs?

With the recent revelations behind the "rock is dying" thread, accompanied by the knowledge that rock and roll values are nearly extinct, rock musicians must come to terms with the same employment issues of mainstream society.  Their careers will not last a lifetime and the need to be nimble and 'reinvent' themselves will soon become a way of life.  Career options are a must.

Therefore, let's propose new career paths for some rock musicians that need to face reality -- they cannot live off of royalties, you know.     Wink. Use left and right arrows to navigate.

    Here are a few suggestions:

    Elton John:  Optometrist
Bruce Springsteen:  Head of NJ Department of Transportation
Sting:  Inspirational speaker ; yoga instructor ; marriage counsellor
    Chrissie Hynde:  President of PETA
Morrissey:  Designer of vegan fashion footwear

No doubt.  I thought his talk show a few years back was one of the best of that form.  I don't always agree with him, but it's hard not to respect his opinions.

(Mr. Wango Tango could learn a few things from him....)

Had to look up Eric Boucher (his stage name, I know); inspired choice!

Honestly, I would love to see Chris Rock run for President.    =)
