Nick Lowe: Happy Birthday, Nick! (and another March birthday, too)

It's the birthday of forum favorite, Nick Lowe.   March 24, 1949 for a cool 65th birthday.

While we're here, would you mind a two-fer birthday thread?

Tomorrow is the birthday of Gloria-a-a-a Steinem.    March 25, 1934 for her (um) 80th birthday.

Hey, Nick's a kid compared to Gloria!   It's all relative.  :)

Now, will you send out a birthday song to these unique individuals?    Go for broke, a song for each of them, your choice.

I'm so glad I noticed it was Nick Lowe's birthday today, too!   Yesterday there were quite a few news pieces re: Steinem, with the big 8-0 birthday looming; I like that she's way older than Nick, and got a kick out of putting them in the same thread.  :)    (NOTE:  not everyone likes Steinem, from what I could see, but everyone loves Nick).

    Superb song choices.   Great videos.

BTW, in all this time, I never knew Van Morrison wrote "G-l-o-r-i-a" --- unbelievable.

    "All this time"

As I understand it, you are a bit younger than many of us.

I am 55 and I still learn lots of new stuff every day....when you stop learning , it's over.

Did you know the Byrds are not part of the British Invasion?
