Dinosaur Jr. is celebrating the 25th anniversary (I know, another anniversary celebration ...) of their classic album, "You're Living All Over Me" in a concert on December 1st in New York's Terminal 5.

The band plans to perform the album in its entirety for their first set.   The second half of the concert will feature three special guests; the first to be announced is Johnny Marr.  

According to a statement on Dinosaur Jr.'s website, "Marr will sit in with Dinosaur Jr. for a song or two, and we’re thrilled he'll be celebrating with us."

It's not exactly a Smiths reunion, but it's probably the next best thing, according to SPIN magazine.  

With absolute zero hope of a Smiths reunion, for all you Smiths fans, this concert might prove to be a real knockout.   

We need more Rock bands named after reptiles.

T.Rex and Whitesnake  were good , too.

Ive got tickets for the Boston show. I love Marrs work and think he is one of the best guitartists in the last 25 years, but to me this doesn't come close to a Smiths show. I love D. Jr as well and the two of them together sound great but still no Smiths gig

No, not a Smiths gig by any means, but sometimes you have to take what you can get.   They sound very psyched to have Marr.

I had a friend who had a pet iguana.  Cutest thing.   He lived a long life, as far as reptiles go.
