A week ago, Dennis Lehane wrote an opinion piece that appeared in the Boston Globe.  It was so exceptional, so well-written, so unexpected, so exquisite, I thought about it for days.  Still am.  It was the best OpEd I have read in a year.  One commenter said that she'd drop everything to read Lehane's shopping list, if he made one available.  :)   Now, I have a sense of urgency to read one of his books.   Pretty amazing.
