    Rest in Peace Charlie Chesterman

He passed away a couple of weeks back but I just heard the news last night. I know he had been suffering with cancer. For those that didn't know of him he was the lead singer of local garage band Scruffy The Cat. Scruffy used to play around Boston so oftenin the mid to late 80s.. They used play quite often. I had the privelege of seeing them over a dozen time.s Thier live shows were jam packed with fun and music.  A true music icon in my eyes.. Was very sad too hear. He was 54.

That is sad news.  I remember Scruffy fondly.  My prep school roommate was a huge fan.

No!  I didn't know.  A fine man and a good composer.  "King Size Cigarette" made a real difference to my life.
