Agree.  I don't like rap, but at least they were interesting, had funny and intelligent lyrics, understood a groove and played an instrument or two.   Overall, I enjoy listening to the Beasties once in a blue moon.

Also, they didn't just start pissing away their money. They have done a lot for charities and causes through the years. Huge loss.

PS Still think "She's On It" is a gem. Has one of the better grooves from the 1980s.
