There's a timeline?  Too bad.  Awesome triple and seemed like bands Zilla would think of.

Here's another 3-peat, not sure if it conforms to Zilla's timeline:

    "Blaze of Glory"

    The Alarm
    Bon Jovi
    Joe Jackson

    I like this thread.

    I can think of two.

Tunnel of Love: Bruce Springsteen and Dire Straits.

Wish You Were Here: Pink Floyd and Rednex.

There is also a song 'Ship of Fools' by Bob Seger.

Okay, I finally stumped this group.

    I probably never will again.

    'Learning To Fly'

Emerson, Lake and Powell ( the album they did while Palmer was in Asia)
    Pink Floyd
    Tom Petty

Many of you came up with some I wasn't even aware about. If you think of any more feel free to add.

Yeah, I should have gotten that one.

Referring back to your original post, 'Do It Again' was also the name of a song by the Beach Boys.

Sorry I didn't give more clues.

But, you have to understand, this has been my mistake before.

This group is the greatest. I have never been humbled by such great minds on the subject of Rock music.

Crystal Ship, a strange instrumental by Bowie I only heard once and then the Doors and I'm pretty sure there was a 3rd CS but it escapes me at the moment.

Ship of fools was another one.  The Dead and Rod Stuart and the Doors I think.

I might be getting Crystal Ship and Ship of Fools mixed up.  I know there's at least 3 songs with that title and one of them being Bowie.

The Who have "Had Enough" and "I've had Enough".

At least now I know why I didn't get it. For some reason, I boycotted the Emerson, Lake & Powell album. I was such a diehard ELP fan that I thought this was blasphemy.

"Do It Again" is one of the Beach Boys best songs.

Also, check out "These Days." Jackson Browne, Foo Fighters, Bon Jovi (I know), Black Keys, REM and quite a few others, all different songs.  Browne's song seems to have been covered by the most artists.

Brilliant song...I have a strange fascination with Nico's version...can't quite explain it.
