    The best ________ from Boston

Been dreaming recently about DMZ somehow reforming to tour, think I mentioned it recently, and was chatting tonight to a mate (he's French, btw, but has an encylopedic knowledge of Boston rock'n'roll) about the guy we both consider to be the best drummer from Boston, Paul Murphy.  Got me thinking, who do you rate most highly?  Me?:

    • Drums:  Murphy, as above
    • Vocals:  Kim Deal
    • Frontman/woman:  Barrence Whitfield
    • Guitar:  Rich Gilbert
    • Bass:  can't think of a standout despite it being my favourite instrument
    • Keys:  can't think of a standout
    • Label:  Ace of Hearts
    • Venue:  TT's
