It's got to all end with The Beatles "The End"

And in the end the love you take
is equal to the love you make.

    BOOM!!!

I just remembered this album -- a must for Saturday's big event.  I'll have to dig it out, I haven't played it in a long time.
    Laughing

ps I don't buy it either, and won't be running up my credit cards.

FYI - while reviewing the supposed time for tomorrows rapture, I have actually calculated it to be around 2 AM EST. So what I will be doing is waking up at 3 AM and going outside with the goodwill bags and genltly place articles of clothing along the sidewalk as so when my neighbors wake up, they will see the clotheswith no bodies in them and think Rapture has indeed happened and that God has passed them over. This should be good for a giggle.

I wish I had thought of this. But then again, where I live people wouldn't think the same. Nobody walks down my street at 2 A.M., in fact most people are in by 10:00 P.M. The joys of living in the country.  If I put clothes out in the street they would think someone dropped them out the back of a truck.

The funny thing is this is how I have been adding to my wardrobe for years.... after Y2K I needed a shoehorn to get anything into my closet.

    Saturday May 21. 8:52 A.M.

    Still here.

Not sure if this is a good thing, though.

Been checking the news sites, and apparantly there are no signs of the end. The vast majority of people are still here, too.

Again, not sure if this is a good thing.

I feel much better. At least I have lots of company still.

Norman Greenbaum - Spirit In the Sky I'm with you ZILLAGOD. The world isn't ending any time soon. Even if us hominids are idiotic to wipe ourselves out, the world will still be here. I just hope we don't make so much of a mess that nothing else survives. As to Dec. 21, 2012, I'm hopeful enough to think that we're headed for a new beginning. A turning of the page so to speak, but I've been here too long to really believe it. At least we'll still have Christmas.

When the current ice age ends, at least in New England perhaps that will be a sign.

We put together an "end of the world playlist" to go along with this coming Saturday's predicted Judgement Day or Rapture. What songs would you add to the list? Tell us and we might eventually tack on your suggestion (if we're all still here).

I spent Saturday at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre watching the Broadway production of "Rain - A Tribute to the Beatles". I figured, if I am going to go, might as well be sitting back and thinking some good sh*t.

If anyone gets to NY this summer, it is worth going to see.
