Which great restaurants fly under the radar?

Do you have a favorite local restaurant that never gets its due? Tell us which restaurants are excellent but underappreciated!

Great story! My favorite "under the radar" recommendations are the Cottage (Chestnut Hill and Wellesley, fish tacos are to die for), Maggiano's Little Italy in the Theater District (ask for Johnny K, maitre d'; scratch kitchen and great for big groups), and I love Grendel's Den still, after all these years, for their quirkiness and their soup.

The Chubby Chickpea,   okay it's fast food/takeout,  but if you like Middle Eastern food at reasonable prices...

I'm going with Peach Farm in chinatown. Open late and one of the most authentic Chinese places in chinatown

Ha, good plug but this is more like fast food, in fact it is fast food.  The one in Canton seems to be empty all the time and has wierd hours.
