Spenser for Hire was also good, going a ways back, Banachek was a good detective show with George Pepppard. Wicked Tuna, Lobster Wars, and Swords on the Line are all Metro Boston fishing shows.

Definately Spenser for Hire! The show was just fun, had great characters and, of course, showed much of Boston. I miss the show very much. -

Spenser For Hire...easily!!! Lots of Boston footage and Hawk, one of the best good/bad characters ever.

Yup, definitely Cheers and St. Elsewhere. Though I was a big "James at 15" fan when I was a kid. That was a pretty hot Swedish exchange student he hooked up with.
