This is what I call a snowstorm.
I hope you all have power (and don't lose it); that takes some of the enjoyment out of having the day off. ;(
Sorry, I don't like snow either, but when it's a storm like this, I feel at peace -- at least for now.
As for being shallow about certain things, I think we all can admit to it. You like eye candy, jessey, so what else is new?! ... new Fab Four avatar is fab, BTW. 
I guess everyone is still in bed? Play safe. I might take a walk ... or maybe not!!

There was a No Pants Day?
Well, today is a Snow Day here. No plows yet, power still on so it's movie marathon day though I'm not sure what the choices are yet.
btw - went to see Black Swan the other night. Disturbing, dark, cryptic - I can see why the critics love it. Natalie Portman was amazing though.

Yoga, I plow and I'm out in the weather almost every time it snows... it didn't happen this time (the storm is a little too angry) but there are times when it is snowing out at 2:00 or 3:00 an the morning when I'm out there all alone and the snow is falling quietly it is one of the coolest times to be on this planet... really peaceful

Have I Told You (all) Lately That I Love You?
That's a song, by the way... very old. My mother use to sing/say that to my Dad periodically (gag).
I get more smiles from this group than I do from other places (almost).
And another thing, I officially hate the snow which I use to love. I can take the cold weather but I've had it with the snow. I want to apologize now to jessey for what's going to happen tomorrow to the Jets by the Patriots .....
However jessey, If you were in the area, I wouldn't hold it against you (you being a Jets / NY fan).

I'm with jkj on this one.
The better team won. In fact, the Pats deserved to lose because they were playing like a clumsy (BDC wouldn't let me use another word) amateur team.
I'm not crazy about the attitude of some of the Jets players but their coach pumped them up real good & it worked.
Congratulations to the Jets -- however, if they make it to the Super Bowl, I can't in good conscience cheer for them. I hope you understand jessey.
jessey, Enough gloating already! Good thing I'm not a betting gal. I would have had to go to NY to treat you to a fancy dinner.

No gloating on my part. If I had to bet the game, I would have bet the Pats. Having lived through more years of Jet misery than I care to remember, I must admit I was pumped yesterday.
