    Playboy of the Western World made me think of westerns, and rather than search for a western I hadn't read, I picked the first one that came to mind.  (One that I enjoyed as a kid.)


    Kind of the antithesis of clever.


    (And I'm pretty sure that's not Fabio -- not that I make a study of this sort of thing, of course.)

    -callie:  Have you read Stiff?  I've read reviews, but haven't braved the book itself.

    I was going for Frozen Stiff, but this is a book I've actually read -- well, I've perused the pictures, anyway (which are spectacular).

    I have to confess, I read very little fiction... But I love memoirs, bios,  and     true crime.
