    What's Eating Gilbert Grape

don't make me diagram this title but it's got a food related action verb and a food noun. (:Well in this case Grape is a proper noun, but Who Cares?:)
I'll delete this if too much of a stretch for yehs

The combination of todays LL letter and the movie posting of Gorillas in the Mist made me think of it.

Loved that movie A-V On a similar theme - mixture of animation with live action Who Framed Roger Rabbit I just thought of another one I should have chosen. It's a little better cuz it's naval based as well. Oh Well - don't feel like changing it now. (wonder if someone else would care to post it?)

Will I do believe you're talking about Anchors Aweigh?  (God, I love Gene Kelly!)

And A-V - I loved The Incredible Mr. Limpet as well!  Such fun seeing movie titles/pictures come up that I say "Oh, *I* remember that one!"

Me and my Gal LWhitt, It is fun to see movies titles & be reminded of ones that we haven't thought about for a long time.  I never even heard of 'Anchors Aweigh.'  I don't know if I like that you & Will are more in tune with each other.  The Italian lady sees green. lol. j/k

A-V - it's worth putting on your Netflix list, or have your DVR /TiVO search for it on various cable channels.  It's wonderful.  :-)

As for Will - I'll share. Tee hee!  (Will, you're OK with that, right?)

    WinkInnocentLaughing

I grew up watching movie musicals (and theatre musicals as well) and love them.  I have to watch Sound of Music by myself, because I sing all of the songs and speak some of the lines throughout the movie (and get ticked off when commercials cut out a whole scene from what I remember seeing a long time ago!)
