AV - yeah, I was in the process of posting Sopranos -> Glee, you must have hit it a few seconds before I did. Usually when that happens I see it and either change or delete my entry. I didn't notice until some time later when the other postings had already been done.

    For Alex P Keaton/Marty Mcfly/Mike Flaherty/Michael J Fox

    Family Ties

justcat - that's the one that first came to mind for me. It's actually a double connection to Hawaii 5-0 cuz John Hillerman (pictured above with Selleck) appeard in several episodes of H50

    The Rockford Files

Now I've got that Hawaii 5-0 theme running thru my head. BEST TV theme song ever!

    (Maude was a spinoff)

(Notice the 15 cents price for TV Guide back then)

    Dancing with the Stars

This connection is sort of double (this was the first thing that came to mind when I saw In The Heat of the Night)

    Castle
(it's a cop show and Richard Castle is a writer - the main charachter in his books is Nicki Heat)

Justcat - Yup, that's the one!

Elekktra - really loved the Mod Squad/Maude connection

AV - what are you doing up at 4 in the morning on a Saturday? Early riser or are you just getting home from your Friday night rendezvuos? Wink

Boston Legal  (a dual theme - legal and Larroquette)

A-V - didn't most young teenage girls have a major crush on David Cassidy?  :-D  (And I see your halo is on very straight this morning after your 4am posting.  :::grin:::)

Elekktra - superb going from Mod Squad to Maude.  :-)

And Will - have to say - I really like the show Castle.  Good writing and good chemistry between the two main characters...although Stephen Cannell will no longer be one of Castle's card-playing buddies. :-(

    Re: TV Word Association

Actually I don't think the TV WA is going to do as well. With a few notable exceptions most TV actors don't tend to do multiple series - except as single episode guest stars. Also I find the word association in the title to be more difficult.

    The West Wing
The John Goodman connection - he had a reoccurring part
