    Where to attach 1098-C

    Hi,
    I am using Tubro Tax to do my Federal and it is telling me to attach my 1098-C for a car donation to the front of the 1040. If I do that it then covers up the 1040 and the W2s that are attached in the front. Should this form be attached behind form 8283?

    Dear slr2:

    Go ahead and attach it to the fornt of the return.  The IRS, in processing paper returns, will detach and reshuffle the W-2s and the Form 1098-C.  You may want to staple it behind the W-2s, if it is so large as to corer them, completely.
