Priceline.com has announced a decision to "kill off" its mascot, the Priceline Negotiator played by William Shatner. That got us thinking about all our favorite mascots of yesteryear, including the Dell Dude and Burger King's "The King." Who do you miss the most? Who are you glad is gone? -

Fred the baker for Dunkin Donuts was a classic, but so was Dunkin Donuts at the time. They used to make the donuts every morning in the shop and if you got there early you could often request warm donuts fresh from the oven.
Certainly that wasn't as efficient as trucking the donuts in from a commisary like they do now, but the donuts were outstanding then. Now they're just run-of-the-mill. -
