    credit card fraud

If you order stuff online,  Do not use the convenient option of keeping your credit card # billing info on file with the site.    Recently found a couple of charges on my cc card that I did not make, turns out someone made these charges using a different e mail address, however the items are going to be shipped to me?  Why would someone do this, or how do they plan to have the items get to them?

    PS: The site was Amazon

I was also advised not to do any automatic credit card payments, like automatic monthly payments for newspaper subscriptions, utilities etc.

       One time payments only.
