Mr. Dooleys in Boston.
Really surprised that the Corrib made the list.Would've agreed 10 years ago, but after dining/drinking there a few months ago it appears to have transformed into little more than another neighborhood bar.

The Corrib is more Irish today than 10 years ago. The bar has very few locals. The restaurant has a lot of old timers. -

Love Liam Maguire's in Falmouth, one of my favorites. I used to frequent the banshee in Dorchester when I lived in that area. Casey O'Connor's in Mansfield and the Cheiftan in Plainville are probably the best places in my neck of the woods these days. -

Two more that come to mind are both restaurants as well, O'Connor's in West Boylston and The Gael House in Clinton. The Old Timers in Clinton as well, where I'll be come next Wednesday! Well, to start the Day anyway.......

These are my favorites.
Mr. Dooleys in Boston, MA is #1; The Old Timers in Clinton, MA is #2.
The rest are tied for 3rd. The Holy Grail in Epping, NH; The Shannon Door in Jackson, NH; The Black Rose and The Solas in Boston, MA. The Peddlars Daughter in Haverhill, MA
I can always have a grand time at any of these pubs. -

Used to love Matt Murphy's. Until they took out all the character of the place by replacing the classic long wooden tables and stopped serving Guinness. It was almost as if there was a husband/wife operation of the business. A guy I thought ran the place suddenly was gone, but the woman remained and the tables and the Guinness left with him.
What happened to you Matt Murphy's? You WERE my favorite Irish bar. -

O'shea's Olde Inn in West Dennis is a great spot for traditional sessions throughout the year. Always fresh Guinness and good food too.
