Artist turns his pet into a flying helicopter

When an artist's cat was hit by a car and killed, he turned him into a piece of art -- a helicopter. The cat is now on display at the Kunstrai art festival in Amsterdam.

Why is this posted? It's not newsworthy.  It reminds me of Jeffrey Dahmer who started out by abusing animals.
    The image made me nauseous.
This is not a helpful tip, opinion or information that needs to be shared IMO.

He probably could have saved about twenty cats at a shelter from suffering for what he paid to have that done.

I'd appreciate it if you removed this thread ASAP. Thanks.

Fine, so it's Art...keep it in a museum (or the privacy of your home).
People can go there if they choose to and look at it.

I just don't think dead bodies (animals or people) stuffed and flying through the air are an attractive sight.

ETA:Would this be a better fit in the Theater/Arts forum (as a previous poster suggested)?

To each his own,  what about the people that pay $50,000 plus to have their pet cloned?

    I just don't get it , when you're dead you're dead.

There are so many animals in shelters that could use the help instead.

I guess it's a choice but I prefer to concentrate on the living.
