Join the fun on Sunday, May 19th at Borderland State Park in North Easton for the 19th Annual Walk for Animals Fundraiser hosted by Neponset Valley Humane Society. The walk is approximately 3 miles through beautiful and serene, well-marked wooded trails.

Registration is at the Park between 9:30 and 10:00AM. Bring family, friends and your canine pals along and walk to save lives. Neponset Valley Humane Society volunteers work tirelessly to rescue abandoned and abused pets and to educate the public about the link between spay/neuter and ending this tragic pet overpopulation problem.

The annual walk is a very important fundraiser for NVHS. There will be fun raffles including Red Sox tickets. Walkers who collect the most sponsor money win a prize. Any walker with at leat $30 in sponsor money receives a free NVHS "Save A Life, Adopt" T-shirt, $60 wins a sweatshirt.

NVHS volunteers need your support. Please come out and walk, run, win to save lives. Details and sponsor forms are available by calling 781 769 1990 or emailing nvhumanesociety@gmail.com. Neponset Valley Humane Society is a no-kill, all volunteer, all foster care, charitable organization dedicated to helping companion animals and feral cats. See all the pets in need of homes at neponsethumane.org.

FYI:  Be aware that Borderland State Park is a tick haven (as all wooded/tall grass areas are) so it would be wise to take precautions if you decide to participate.
