Awhile back, somebody asked if we could set up a CC book club forum here ... then someone pointed out that there was a Books forum already, so I wasn't sure if you wanted your own or not. I'm happy to do so ... you have your own recipes forum, after all. Or how about a soap operas forum? ;-)
Let me know.

You know I would love a soap operas forum, Dottie! LOL As for the book forum, there doesn't seem to be much input. I mention books now and then that I'm reading, but other than that not too much discussion. See what the others think - - -

I wouldn't mind discussing "Days of Our Lives"

James Scott as EJ DiMera (he's my favorite)
However, I don't think soap operas are that popular anymore :(

I think it might drive more traffic. I read a lot but hesitate to mention all the books I read in the main forum. The SO forum would be a good idea too.

Re the Soaps thread, I posted this:
I feel badly, Dottie, that you started this thread for me - I'm having a monologue, and it's a waste of space. Had hoped there were perhaps lurkers who perhaps hadn't joined in yet, but might find this thread of interest. I think now that most readers are apparently working days and not involved in any of the soaps. I appreciate your effort, but I'm not going to continue on with a monologue.
Thanks, Dottie, I gave it a valiant try.

I think a "book Club Forum " would be a fun idea. I hope it comes to pass!

HI Robin:
I have been watching Days on and off for years. I think I started when John Black first came on the scene as Roman Brady. I remember he and Doc reuniting on the dock.
There have been some great couples over the years. I think Patch and Kayla are my fav.
EJ seems to be fav among my female twitter pals. The soap stars are not as popular as years ago. They make a lot less money as well.

Hi jackbu, often I just tune in to DOOL to see how the actors are holding up.
How the ladies are doing their hair, clothes....who has had a facelift, fillers, botox, it's hard to tell anymore.
The storylines sometimes are so silly; I don't pay much attention.
Although, I heard that Nicole's baby may be alive, and that Cam the dr is involved, now that could get interesting.
I do enjoy this site: http://www.dayscafe.com/
I don't twitter or tweet, the computer is enough for me, lol
Soap operas are passé.
Although, I suspect there are some closet watchers.

Hi Robin:
Twitter is good for Days updates. Keeping up with the face lifts is interesting. Deidre Hall seems to have the best surgeon.
Yes, there are some closet watchers as we have seen here.

Hi jackbu, If the actor that plays Roman on DOOL has any more botox pumped into his forehead; I fear his head might explode!
This is just an assumption of course, lol.
I have no personal knowledge of what, if anything, any of them have had done to themselves to appear younger (disclaimer).

Hi Robin:
I know that character and yes, he went over board on the injections. He has been around for a while, played Valerie Harper's husband in a sitcom and was very good.
