Cleaning is done, but I have so much energy, probably the better barometer readings - think I will rearrange the pantry storage shelves I have alongside the cellar stairs. Have accummulated so many decorative glass jars/containers that they are taking up space needed for spaghetti, canned goods, baking supplies. Hate to get rid of any, but I know one I can put into use - bought a large bag of lollipops yesterday and can fill a jar with them and put them out for the little ones to find.
Temps have warmed up, changed into my bermudas. Cheerio has gone from window to sun to bed to rug in front of the door. OMG, didn't hear her come in, but now she's followed me in here and is stretched out on this bed. Just wants to be in the same room. OOps, see another plant in here that is long past being discarded. Never used to let my plants die back, don't know what has happened to me. No sense watering this one any more in the hopes it revives, out it goes.
Doesn't seem possible it's time for your son to leave already, Pingo. I thought he was staying until September? You just get used to having him around, and it's time for him to go.
Got a thank you today for the baby shower of a friend's first grandchild I went to back in May. Only thing is, she thanks me for one of two substantial gifts I gave her - what do you do in a case like that? Guess I'll just mention to her mo next time we are talking that I got the thank you and a beautiful picture of the baby, and hope she knows that I had also included such and such in the package (too big to be missed).
OK, shelves, here I come. Think there's some clean shelf paper in one of the closets or drawers.
