Good morning and Happy March!
Glad everyone made it home safely last night and to work this morning as well. I was counting on staying at home today, but no need to. The roads are fine, just slushy. I rather stay at home on Fridays.
Amber - tt's birthday is the day after St. Pat's. Can believe it is already daylight savings time. But I am looking forward to it - love it when it is light and bright, when I go home from work.
tt, what yummy pancakes. So thick. I am getting all kind of BD greetings in the mail too. Thanks to Kar, I have a coupon for an entire entree and dessert from Not Your Average Joe. And I have a dessert from Chili's plus a few others, I probably will not use. Will go tmw. to Michael's and sign up there. 20 % is a good discount. Speaking of discounts. I need to purchase something from BB&B and I have been waiting for their 20% off coupon since beg. of the year. They used to drop in my mailbox frequently. Have any of you gotten them recently or have they stopped giving them out?
Tulip, so sorry to hear about your DH's stroke and seizure. But you seem to take it in stride with an upbeat attitude. Bless you. It sounds like your son is staying with you. Hopefully he shares your care taking.
Icer, that wedding cake on your bike is a riot. You could be a prop in one of those funny wedding movies. New side job for you. Looking forward to Kar's altered photo. I just can't imagine you drive away with it assembled 3 - 4 layers tall.
Gotta get going. The snow has long stopped here - hope it stays that way.

How fitting tt your birthday is the day after St. Pat's day. That would have been one long birthday celebration if that was mine, in my younger days! From one Irish woman to another : ) -

Oh Icer - great photo and thanks Kar for making it possible to show us. What a great contraption for the cake. I am sure Honey must have had a hand in that. But actually, thinking of it - it is probably easier to attach it to the bike, than it would be to pack it in a car. But please tell me, how do you get on and off the bike with that contraption? Wish I knew, where your St. Pats parade is. - Pingo -

I don't know WHY I didn't figure this out sooner!
I use shampoo in the shower!
When I wash my hair, the shampoo runs down my whole body, and
Printed very clearly on the shampoo label is this warning,
"FOR EXTRA VOLUME AND BODY."
No wonder I have been gaining weight!
Well! I have gotten rid of that shampoo and
I am going to start showering with Dawn dish soap instead.
Its label reads,
"DISSOLVES FAT THAT IS OTHERWISE DIFFICULT TO REMOVE."
Problem solved!
If I don't answer the phone, I'll be in the shower! -

I am being good today. Made a salad the other night, so brought in what was leftover with a side of ranch dressing and a ciabatta roll. Probably going to have it soon. -
