It depends what I'm doing on whatever day. For cardio days (mostly running on the treadmill) I like to listen to Michael Jackson. For lifting days I will listen to anything from "O Fortuna" to some Heavy Metal band.

Re: What are your favorite songs to exercise to?

I am more of an indie rock person in my usual daily playlist, but for the gym you need something a bit better than sad songs and weepy guys so I tend to lean towards rap. The ghetto-er the better. Although I do have a fondness for Black Eyed Peas...Pump It, Boom Boom Pow, My Humps - all great stuff.

    Big Tymers - Still Fly
1,2 Step - Ciara and Missy Elliot
When's The Last Time - Clipse
    Dem Franchise Boyz
Ester Dean - drop it low
lots of Fabolous, Snoop, Dre (Tear for Nate Dogg...)
    G-unit, 50, the Game,
    Gucci Mane
Jay-z (and the Danger mouse Remix of the Black Album is great too for the gym)
Ludacris - Hoes, Area Codes, My Chick Bad - pretty much most of his stuff, and Nelly's Country Grammar (not terribly excited by his newer stuff)
N.E.R.D. - Everybody Nose - get the remix with Kanye - love the intro to that song
On that note - Kanye West - Power, Jesus Walks, great songs
Outkast - BOB, Hey Ya, Atliens
Trick Daddy - I'm A Thug, Let's Go - which is used at Patriots Games during commercial breaks
REAGGATON - Amazing for the gym - lots of Daddy Yankee and Pitbull

And there is some random indie which is fun - like the Sleighbells, The Sounds, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Passion Pit, Ozma, Muse which all have amazing beats and are fantastic for the gym.

Ok I could probably list about 200 more, seeing as how my gym list is close to 600.
