Well, if you're a runner, "Eye of the Tiger" is a must ...

I like a lot of Lady Gaga (upbeat tempo, steady beat) as well as Linkin Park's "Bleed it Out."

I used to do this class called "Body Pump" , and there were many pop songs remixed and re-tempo'd to go with lifting weights in sets of 8 and such ...
My favorite was doing curls to Christina Aguilara's "Fighter" ...

"'Cause it makes me that much stronger
Makes me work a little bit harder
    Makes me that much wiser
So thanks for making me a fighter
Made me learn a little bit faster
Made my skin a little bit thicker
It makes me that much smarter
So thanks for making me a fighter "

    it was awesome.

Most of my list is made up of Ke$ha and Lady Gaga, which is great music to work out to. Also a bunch of uptempo songs by Paramore, Ther Veronicas, and No Doubt.

I also have a couple obscure songs. "I'm ALIVE" by Becca is a great song to work out to. Although it's not in English, "Sprinter" by the Japanese group Kalafina makes me feel like I could work out for hours. Sometimes if I feel like I need a boost in my workout, I'll skip ahead to that song. You can get it on iTunes, it's a really beautiful song too.
