    Typical cost for ceremony musicians?

About how much are you paying for your ceremony musicians? We were quoted $710 for a string trio for 90 minutes (brief ceremony followed by cocktail hour). We're also looking into renting a shade canopy for them and that will be an additional cost. I'm just curious about what other people are paying. TIA!

We are using Occassional Brass and will have a Brass Trio for $300. This includes a 30 minute prelude, all the other stuff and then 15 minute postlude.

I used a string trio (Violin, Viola & Cello) - Accord Chamber Players. I booked them for 1 hour at $425. I didn't rent any shade canopy but asked the venue to place them in the shade, not sure if you have that option. I found them through gigmasters.com. If you want my contact's email - just let me know.
