I got a lot of good advice from my mom, but the best advice she ever gave me was "You don't want to be just like everybody else."

I have been given good advise from a lot of matriarchs in my family...yes my Grandma gave out the "making lemonade" advise...its good...but there have been a few others that stand out in my memories
my aunt.."kill them with kindness" this is a great way to deal with an adversary
my great aunt....I am going to have to clean this one up a bit..."think with your brain...not your zipper
my mother has a wide variety of advise that just calms you...like when you work really hard to achieve a goal...like getting a mortgage...and the list is endless and you meet every requirement....only to find out theres one thing that just makes it not work.....her advise..."just think of this as getting the mortgage part 2" -

My mother gave me several. Here is one of them:
- Don't feed yourself leftovers - feed the sink. -

Be discerning and on guard about who you let into your heart whether it be a friend, boyfriend, whomever. -

My mother always told me to "get high on life" . . .
while she was getting high on Screwdrivers.
Good ol' mom.
I miss her.
