    We're putting together a collection of the web sites we love to visit just to kill time. With enough reader input, we'll keep running new collections on a regular basis, and that's where you come in.

    I am a fan of http://www.peopleofwalmart.com. Also, I am a grammar nerd, so I love http://www.apostrophecatastrophes.com and The Blog of Unnecessary Quotation Marks. And Passive-Aggressive Notes!

    Aside from the obvious — Facebook, Google+, icanhascheezburger.com, livejournal.com, YouTube, and email, I enjoy the following:

    http://getoutoftherecat.tumblr.com/ (Cats. Where they do not belong)
    http://theoatmeal.com/  (Often very rude and NSFW, but funny)

    These are kind of specialized:

    http://tackytackoftheday.blogspot.com/ (Mainly for horsepeople, but still very funny.)
    http://collaborativepiano.blogspot.com/  (Practical advice for pianists and singers)

    Lastly, I waste a lot of time during the spring, summer, and sometimes fall at http://spc.noaa.gov.  I'll also look at almost anything on http://www.nasa.gov
