Hi Ladies. I am doing this tradition and I'm sure others are doing it or did it. I thought it would be fun to say what you did. Also it might give an idea to the recently engaged ladies to see what you're doing.
I'll start.
Old - My mom's veil and I'm pinning my dad's wedding ring to the inside of my dress
New - My officant and dear friend bought me my earrings for the day
Borrowed - I'm borrowing a beautiful necklace from MOH's mom
Blue - My promise ring FI gave me 3 years ago. It's aquamarine.
Anyone else care to share??

The only one I was going to do was "blue," and I bought a pair of thong panties with blue diamond rings and "I do" on them (from Victoria's Secret)...and totally forgot to wear them! -

Old: kimono that will be reworked into a sash/train.
New: dress.
Borrowed: Nothing yet, I'm sure something will be by the time the wedding rolls around.
Blue: dress and diamond in my engagement ring. BTW, a blue diamond is much pretty than a [insert adjective describing brown diamond] diamond. :) -

Blue - my seemstress surprised me by cross-stitching my wedding date into my dress in blue thread

Forgot to mention as part of my old that my mom (who does not have a green thumb) managed to keep alive a plant my dad brought to her and me in the hospital when I was born. Her dream was always that it would be in my bouquet. 30-odd years later, a few sprigs made it in there. -

Finally found her about three minutes before I had to be out for pictures!
