Lucca in the North End is a good Italian night out restaurant. -

Brasserie Joe's by the Prudential Center (or Hynes)
Blue Ginger in Wellesley
And Fugakyu in Brookline is amazing, if you're in the mood for raw fish. Mmmmmmmmm!
I've also heard that Mama Maria's in the North End is a good, romantic place, but I haven't gotten a chance to check it out, since every time I'm eating in the North End, I insist on pizza at Regina's. -

I would second Dali. Very romantic!
We also really like Gargoyles on the Square in Davis Square. They have a wonderful tasting menu that we like for special occasions. -

We recently ate at Rendezvous in Central Square and the food was *amazing*!!! It was SO good... thinking about it makes my mouth water. Desserts are really good too! -
