    Blue Shoes

Friday and I can't do anymore work, so figured I'd ask silly questions.  I am thinking about getting blue shoes instead of the white ones I bought. I am trying to find something more comfortable than the ones that I bought (they were very on sale, so I don't mind getting others).  Anyone have pics of their blue shoes, or seen any that look comfortable?  FYI my dress is already hemmed for 3 inch heels.   If i wear the white ones that I have i know ill have to change into flip flops and i am sure 3 inch flipflops/sandals won't be comfortable either because they'll be so high!

You know you can always dye shoes, right? You could buy white shoes you love and have them dyed blue!

I found these two pictures on the TheKnot.com, both were white, and dyed to blue.

    Re: Blue Shoes

I'm doing blue shoes for my dress...I had seen colored shoes on Style Me Pretty.com and then found these back in January at Ann Taylor for $20...and I can't pass up a good deal :-) Sorry the picture is so small I couldn't find a bigger one online.
I am ordering wedge flip flops from VS...they come in different heights up to 3 1/2 which is what I need...and they are on sale 2 for $25.

I got an adorable pair of blue flats off eBay for my wedding 2 years ago. Patent leather with lots of detailing and big blue velvet bows.

    Here's some others I found:

    Re: Blue Shoes

Thanks! They are oragami roses I made from blue tissue paper. I got a whole bolt of tissue paper online for $15. The smaller white paper roses I bought premade at Michaels, as well as white and blue tulle and bouquet holders with florist foam to stick them into. They were super easy to make, I would estimate I only spent $35 for the 4 bouquets that I made.

The dress I got from David's Bridal $99 sale.

I was tempted to get this pair.  Must check out their anatomy-of-a-heel section on their website...supposedly the company specializes in orthopedically designed wedding shoes.

    Very cool, Pinkie!

I found a bunch of highly rated for comfort and style blue dress shoes on Zappos.  I recommend that company.  One year, free returns.  Try it, send it back, no hassles or expense.

Shoes to Dye For in Natick has a HUGE collection of dyeable shoes and the customer service there is great--they helped me identify a very comfortable pair for my wedding.
