Recycling the dress - any suggestions?

I've decided to recycle my wedding dress.  My mother will be reconstructing my dress into my daughter's Christening gown.  Something I am very excited about.  But I just realized there will be plenty of left over fabric and lace and it would be nice to use some of it in other ways.  I know I can go online and do some research myself, but I thought it would be fun to hear from all of you in the forum.  Any suggestions?  Thanks!

That was going to be my suggestion as I did the same.  None of these would use up a lot of material, but how about a tooth fairy pillow and/or a ring bearer pillow for your daughter's future wedding?  Is there enough material to save for a First Communion dress also (if you are going to do that)?
