    Which wedding website provider

Looking for an affordable personal wedding website and can't find any reviews on this forum. Would prefer lots of Flash graphics. Does anyone have any suggestions?

    Re: Which wedding website provider

    Hi,

You get a free website if you register with the knot website. Nearlyweds (http://www.nearlyweds.com/) has more fun designs and a lot more flexibility in building your site, but they aren't flash websites. Here's a page with a list of wedding website providers and costs: http://www.weddingwebsites.com/compare.php. I did find one provider that used a lot of flash, but I forget which one that was. I was looking for flash-free sites myself.

I also used the Knot. Keep your guests in mind when designing a site. Older relatives usually want something simpler, whereas younger guests won't mind some pizazz. Just make sure that no one has to sit through a long animated intro any time they want to visit your site. It's fun the first time, but if you're just looking up the address of the reception it's a pain to have to sit thorugh a 2 minute movie just to get to it.
