We're trying to find a venue for a 30-40 person wedding that is located on the T. Ideal would be in Cambridge or Boston proper. Would need to host both ceremony and reception. Under $2500 for just the rental, or under $5000 including food.
Already looked at the college club of boston and really liked it. But want something as a comparison of what is offered.

What about the Mt. Vernon On Broadway in Somerville. Its a block up from the Sullivan Square T station on the Orange line. Their John Henry room would fit about 50 people comfortably. -

Union Oyster House has done weddings of that size before...on the main level in the back, nice room with its own bar...can do buffet or sit down dinner. I think you could definitely do it for under $5K.
