Okay, our displeasure will be expressed today in song lyrics.

    Ray Allen;

Is you is or is you ain't my baby?
The way you're acting lately makes me doubt.

Yeah I still had to watch.  I'm not a huge basketball guy but playoff basketball is awesome.  The refs are calling a ton of fouls though.

If it keeps on rainin' the levee's gonna break . . .

Today's a new day.  They just need to win the next two at home, then grab one of the final two in LA - very doable.

    If you should go skating
On the thin ice of modern life
Dragging behind you the silent reproach
Of a million tear stained eyes
Don't be surprised, when a crack in the ice
    Appears under your feet
You slip out of your depth and out of your mind
With your fear flowing out behind you
As you claw the thin ice

Does anyone else remember the Celtics-themed 1986 parody of 'We Belong?'

'We belong on the courts, we be tall in our shorts we be Ceeeeltiiiiics...'  It was all over the radio.

I don't remember that at all, DG.  Weird.  I usually dredge stuff like that up from the recesses of my brain at the drop of a hat.

    Oh...and good morning, kids!

I had a lovely date last night with The Aussie.  :)

A glimer of hope for all you dejected Celtics fans out there.

Kevin Garnett had his best game in like a month!!!

So if he can continue playing that way and I doubt Ray could play that bad again.

I see good things.KG plays like that and Ray plays half decent I think we got a good shot. And Pierce wasn't great either. So if everyone steps it up a bit. They will be ok.

I hate that NBA games are so far apart.  It leaves you so much time to stew.

Re: 6/9 - Ray Allen was Cold as Ice, willing to sacrifice our love...

B3, this is the guy I had a single perfect date with back in late March, then he kind of disappeared to "sort things out" because he was very recently divorced and was still processing things.

Well, we started talking again about two weeks ago while he was on vacation.  And he stopped by briefly (completely unplanned) for a cup of coffee on his way back from his trip on Friday morning right before I left for my weekend in B'more because he just "didn't want to wait" until I got back to see me.  I almost missed my train. :)

Last night, we went to the martini bar near my house and had a light dinner, then walked down to the beach.

He's quite the gentleman.  It was lovely.

We're seeing each other on Friday night.  It will officially be date #3.5

I do believe that means Flight Control will grant me permission to clear the tower.  :)
