    Glad it was just acting up but I agree with Sally- take him to the vet - just in case!

    Yeah, if that was going on for months, something still may not be right. Cats are really good at masking pain.

    Agree with MoVa and Sally.  The four day hiatus may be just that - there may be an underlying issue with his health.  Can't hurt to have him checked out by a vet.

    Go to the vet,  we all try to avoid it because of the cost ($$$),  however sometimes if you don't take care of a problem early on it will cost even more later and could potentially harm the animal.  I promise I won't say another word!
