For the b.comMinotaur and DG - the vase

Oh my, my memory is shot. I was looking for Parian ware, and it's actually a red-figure vase. I was sure it was bisque, unless a copy in bisque was made centuries later and that's what I'm thinking of. My apologies.

This is the tender Minotaur portrait:

Oh, little babytaur!  He is so cute!

And ripped, for a little babysaurus....

Aaawwwww.... Look at the widdle minotaur...

Seriously, I never pictured such a sweet looking minotaur.  He looks like a distant relative to Ferdinand the Bull.

Thanks, RDG. He does look very sweet. But Pasiphae is looking none too happy with her little beast!

She is probably slapping him gently on the head and telling him it is not nice to head butt the other little boys.

Either that, or the Greek form of the Heimlich, as her other hand is awaiting whatever is coming out of his mouth when she pounds him on the back.

"Spit the mortal OUT!  Come on, let it go, it's not NICE to eat mortals, I've told you that before!"

OK, how about Vogueing Minotaur?  (Cropped a bit to avoid the Minotaur showing its privates...)

Thank you all for the splendid pictures! I have added them all to the family album for the young minitaurs to admire -- and to draw upon for avatars as the mood requires.

Got your message, LWhitt, and I saved that one too.

As for the burping? I rather think Pasiphae is calling out, "Tell Daedalus to hurry up with that maze!"

I just wanted to add my friend's webcomic link to this discussion: http://mirthlessmyth.com/

    It's all about a minotaur, a talking diamond and a girl.  :)
