I suppose so, but I couldn't help wondering if Emera were some new type of troll...  Instead of posting inflammatory political and social commentary, the new troll poses as BDC staff and gives us false hopes of a better website experience.... ;)

    Hi all,

We're aware of and working through the issue on the LL post this morning.

sorry, someone in the Celts forum has figured out how to embed photos in the new site and I'm trying to figure out how he is doing it. :) I didn't think you could post photos yet.

The first clue is the avatar, why would you have a photo that looks like you're laughing at people if you're in a professional role here?

You can't upload photos or change your avatar right now, but you can still copy and paste photos etc.

Posts/threads are missing,  avatars are changing back to what you had a few months ago and then switching back again.
I guess not a big deal in the major scheme of things!

Yeah, looks like you can copy and paste photos fairly reliably, had some issues from time to time but it works to some extent.

Need to test a couple linking options. Copy and paste:

    http://espn.go.com/blog/boston/new-england-patriots/post/_/id/4728724/demps-out-for-year-with-ir-move

    Mike Reiss piece

Thanks, I would assume both these options work, but want to find out. :)

I can't see any avatars :P  And I still can't post on the blog.  I try, but I just get zipped back to the homepage.  I guess this will be a highly productive work week for me...

    For me too!

I suspect the whole tone of the blog is going to change as a result of this new format.

    It already has.

A new little tool called Internet Explorer

    http://arstechnica.com/information-technology/2012/08/firefox-continues-to-gain-as-internet-explorer-chrome-slide/

Just read this article that talks about market share of the various browser options worldwide.

As of July 2012, Internet Explorer at over 49% marketshare of browsers from laptops/desktops.

If we look at desktops only, Internet Explorer's marketshare increases to just under 54%.

Meanwhile, FireFox and Crome battle it out for 2nd or 3rd with anywhere from 15% - 23% Marketshare.

So tell me again why the new tools weren't tested so that they worked on Internet Explorer - the most commonly used browser on the planet?

p.s. yes, this is what I do when I'm procrastinating from my real job and can't kill time posting on LL.
