BostonGlobe.com unreadable, this paying customer will cancel

As of Thursday, March 7, the Boston Globe's paid subscription site became unreadable. The heads and articles appear in impossibly small type, about 5-point. Photos stack up on top of news articles, making them unselectable.

We continue to use IE6, as supplied with Windows XP, for most things. We know it, and it outperforms all the later Microsift browsers. It works fine for hundreds of other news sites worldwide, including the NY Times, for which we are also paying. We abandoned the Washington Post two years ago when it also became unreadable, even though it was free.

Globe personnel should not bother to reply, as words don't matter at all. If we find the Globe did not correct its problems within two weeks, we will terminate our subscription.
